Fatty Liver & Fibrosis Risk Calculator
Estimate your chance of fatty liver with the Fatty Liver Index, and your risk of liver scarring with the FIB-4 score — from routine blood-test values.
Fatty Liver Index
Body and lipid values
Triglycerides come from a lipid profile and GGT from a liver function test.

How these scores work
The Fatty Liver Index combines triglycerides, BMI, GGT and waist circumference. Below 30 makes fatty liver unlikely; 60 or above makes it likely. FIB-4 combines age, AST, ALT and platelet count to estimate liver scarring: below 1.3 is low risk of advanced fibrosis, and 2.67 or above is high risk.
